What to share, and what not to show

Choosing a tab, a window or your entire screen, and keeping passwords private.

Tab, window or entire screen

Before you share, Alongrail suggests what to choose for your job, and why. A Chrome tab is enough when the work is on one website. A window covers several websites in your browser. If the job leaves the browser, for a file or another app, choose your entire screen.

If you share too little, Alongrail loses sight of you when you switch, and it says so. You can stop sharing and choose again.

What Alongrail sees

Images are sent only when you press the button in the panel. It is never a recording, and images of your screen are not stored.

Passwords and private details

Pause before you type a password: there’s a stop control in the panel. Close or hide anything you don’t want seen before you share, and share the narrowest choice that covers the job.
