Alongrail Tasks · for one software job you need done
Get that software job done today, yourself, with each step shown on your own screen.
No bringing someone in for a short job, and no searching through videos made on someone else’s screen. You tell Alongrail what you’re trying to do. Then you share your screen, and it shows you the next step from what’s actually there, until the job is finished. You do every click.
Your first 2 tasks are free, no card, and they last 10 days. Then 25 tasks for $20, which never expire, with no subscription. A task that ends unfinished in its first few steps is returned to you automatically.
You choose what to share, you can stop at any time, and Alongrail never clicks for you. Chrome or Edge on a computer; nothing to install.

Watch a task being guided
In about a minute, this video shows someone making a flowchart in draw.io, guided one step at a time while they do every click. The flowchart in it is a made-up example.
Alongrail isn’t affiliated with draw.io.

- Done
Alongrail reads your goal back before anything starts, so you can correct it. Then one step at a time, from what’s on your screen right now.
Use your judgement
Please take a moment before any change involving money, permissions, deleting data or publishing. Alongrail reads your screen carefully, but you decide whether each step is right for you.
Its guidance comes from what it can see on your screen, and it can sometimes misunderstand something. The same care goes for a site that’s already live: DNS changes in particular can take time to reverse.
Alongrail guides; you do the clicking. Another tool will suit you better if the work is on a phone with no desktop version, if there’s nothing on screen to guide because it’s a pure knowledge question, or if you want it done for you.
Alongrail looks only when you ask.
You choose what to share — one tab, one window, or the whole screen — and you can stop at any time. Images of your screen are not stored by Alongrail.
