Register as a seller on Flipkart Seller Hub (2026)
What you’ll have at the end
A Flipkart Seller Hub account with your mobile number, business details, email, signature, pickup address and bank account filled in, waiting for Flipkart's approval. Listing your products comes after approval.
Before you start
You’ll need
- A mobile number and an email address you can use now
- Your GST number (GSTIN); Flipkart says most categories need one
- Your digital signature, to upload (Flipkart's word for it)
- Your pickup address
- Your bank account details
What it costs. Flipkart says creating a seller account is free; you pay Flipkart a commission when you make a sale.
Flipkart says most categories need a GST number to register, and some, such as books, may let you start without one. Please check Flipkart's category guidelines if you're not sure about yours. If you don't have a GSTIN yet, Flipkart's page points you to www.gst.gov.in, where you fill in and submit the GST enrolment application.
Please also have ready a mobile number and an email address you can use now, your digital signature, your pickup address and your bank account details. Flipkart says you can register with a personal bank account and switch to a business account later.

9. Wait for Flipkart's approval

If something looks different
- Flipkart's article describes each step but doesn't print the exact wording of every screen, so labels on your screen may differ from the descriptions here.
- If your category doesn't need a GST number, step 3 may ask for different details.
