Have a software job you’re stuck on?
You don’t need to know which button. Tell Alongrail what you’re trying to do, and it guides you through the software until it’s done.
Describe the whole job, not the next click. A sentence is enough, and more detail is better.
You’re in the right place. Start with the option marked Settings.
Connect a domain to the site I’ve built
Set up a Meta pixel so my ads can be measured
Get Google Analytics reporting properly
Find the setting I know exists
Change something on my website without breaking it
Software I use twice a year and never remember
- Tell it the job
- It reads it back
- Choose what to share
- One step
- You do it
- Done
Alongrail reads your goal back before anything starts, so you can correct it. Then one step at a time, from what’s on your screen right now.
Use your judgement
Please take a moment before any change involving money, permissions, deleting data or publishing. Alongrail reads your screen carefully, but you decide whether each step is right for you.
Its guidance comes from what it can see on your screen, and it can sometimes misunderstand something. The same care goes for a site that’s already live: DNS changes in particular can take time to reverse.
Alongrail guides; you do the clicking. Another tool will suit you better if the work is on a phone with no desktop version, if there’s nothing on screen to guide because it’s a pure knowledge question, or if you want it done for you.
Alongrail looks only when you ask.
You choose what to share — one tab, one window, or the whole screen — and you can stop at any time. Images of your screen are not stored by Alongrail.
