Skills demonstrated
Turning a supplied logo, photographs and a colour and font list into a brand board anyone can work from · Typing colours by their codes, and keeping a brand's three most important colours in the free Brand Kit · Setting type to a stated font and size, and choosing the listed fallback when a font is not free · Placing a logo and photographs at stated sizes, and cropping a picture into a shape rather than stretching it · Building a square post, a story and a flyer in one project from a copy deck · Finding and fixing what a real copy deck arrives with — a name spelt several ways, a web address given two ways, a headline past the brand's limit, a photograph under a name no file carries, a photograph the wrong shape · Checking every piece against the brand's rules before it goes out, and downloading the files a printer and a social account need · Sharing a view-only link, knowing who can open it

What was built

One Canva project holding a four-page brand board — the logo at its stated size with its rule, every brand colour with its code, the two typefaces at their stated sizes, and the product photographs cropped to matching tiles — and a square post, a story and a printed flyer built from the copy deck with its mistakes put right, downloaded as the files a printer and a social account need.

The 6 sessions, and when each was completed on their own

Session 1Get in, and put the logo down4 October 2026
Session 2Colour11 October 2026
Session 3Type18 October 2026
Session 4Photography, and the brand board whole25 October 2026
Session 5The post and the story1 November 2026
Session 6The flyer, the check, and the handover8 November 2026

Each session was completed twice: once with step-by-step guidance on one company’s data, then on a second company’s data from a brief, with guidance only when asked. Every check passed on both. Alongrail records the sessions, the checks and the dates; the dashboard itself is the learner’s own, hosted where they chose.

The record is a description of work you did, not a claim about you. Anyone who opens it can see the work for themselves. It stays private until you publish it, and you can unpublish it at any time.

The name, the course, the date, the skills and the link to the dashboard: that is the whole of it. Nothing on it is about you that you didn’t do.
